This is a story of a young man in the clouds with some crazy ideas. With the help of some buddies this guy moved $18 million worth of weed and eventually let the money get the best of him. As I read this I couldn’t decide whose team I was on. On one hand, this kid is kind of a genius and it is kind of amazing to think how he got away with all of this and for how long. However pot is still illegal in many places. I think the fact that it is becoming legalized in many paces makes it seem like this kid wasn’t doing to much wrong. The story does kind of shed light on the fact that you do not have to go to college and beyond to be super successful but that there are wrong ways to be successful, like by breaking the law. What did truly bother me however was that he got more time in prison without parole than his opponent did after being charged with a murder. Especially now that pot is being legalized and law is loosening the grip on that. When did we start loosening the grip on murder?
